$15 Who says Christmas has to be red?

This one trades the usual red for deep green and warm brass. A carved mango wood deer, tied with a jute bow and wood beads, stands at the back of a present shaped mango wood board dotted in white, with a cutout bow at one end. Next to the deer, an antiqued brass vase holds two full juniper bunches with a few dusty blue berries. Up front, a scalloped brass bowl cradles two clusters of green jingle bells, adding a little shine right where your eye lands first. When the season is over, the board goes right back to serving duty.

Styling tip: Set the board down so the bow points right. Stand the deer at the back left corner. Pack both juniper bunches into the brass vase and set it at the back right. Drop both bell clusters into the brass bowl and place it at the front edge, a bit left of center, so it overlaps the base of the deer. The brass bowl up front and the brass vase in back echo each other, which makes the tray feel finished from every side.
