Styling tip: Arrange the three houses across the riser first, placing the dark house in the center with a white house on either side so the color contrast reads clearly from the front. Set the medium vase behind the houses with both rust thistle stems inside, and place the small vase just to one side. Keep the vases slightly behind the houses rather than beside them. That placement lets the warm rust color peek through the rooflines instead of competing with them.
