It starts with a large sage green vintage book, titled "All the Little Things," laid flat as the base. Two glazed stoneware vases sit on top, flecked with earthy speckles like fresh ground nutmeg. The smaller vase has a darker speckle, and the taller bottle shape has a lighter one. A stem of rust thistle reaches up and out of the tall vase, full of round blooms and long green leaves. At the right sits a carved mango wood pumpkin, its golden grain echoing the warm browns of the vases.

Compact enough for a coffee table or kitchen island, it gives you a whole fall moment with almost no effort.

Styling tip: Lay the book flat with the spine facing out so the title is easy to read. Set the tall vase near the back center, then place the small vase in front of it and a little to the left so the two overlap. Stand the pumpkin near the right front corner. Finally, angle the thistle stem so the blooms lean back and to the left. That lean balances the pumpkin on the opposite side and keeps the book from looking lopsided.
