Styling tip: Stand the striped tree at the back left with the ruffled tree beside it on the right, pulled a few inches forward. Let the bird sit at the front left, looking out as if it's keeping watch. Lay the garland in a loose curve that wraps around the front of both bases and trails off to each side. Because there's no tray to fill, you can stretch the garland as wide as your counter allows.
